In recent years there have been a lot of people writing books about the need for churches to be multi-ethnic. We can be thankful that God has us a multi-ethnic church, and when we invite people we shouldn't apologize about the cultural mix we have. We can be an example for other churches.
Today Mike shares Biblical examples of how the early church was multi-ethnic and how those worshiping God together in Heaven will also be multi-ethnic. God has created every culture and given each culture it's strengths, so when we come together we can learn from each other. Being a multi-ethnic church also reminds us not to find our identity in our national origins but in Christ.
This message is an encouragement to overcome our cultural differences. There is also some practical advice about how we can do that.
This week Bobby Ryan, one of our elders, gave the message. In this message Bobby talks about the importance of Jesus' Resurrection to the Christian faith. In addition to reading the Biblical accounts, Bobby goes over some of the proof that Jesus was raised from the dead.
