This week we continue to look at Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians.

Ephesians 1:15-17 Gratitude & Prayer

What kind of prayers did Paul pray for the churches he planted? He gives thanks for them! How thankful are you for your brothers and sisters in Christ? Paul also prayed for a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus. We can impact the lives around us, and even lives far away, by praying like Paul did. May God raise us up as prayer warriors!

Behold, The Lamb Of God - Part 2

In the Old Testament, sin was covered up by the blood of sacrificial animals. In John 1:29, Jesus is described not as covering up, but as taking away the sin of the world. The whole sacrificial system of the Old Testament was meant to point to Jesus’ sacrifice. Mike shows us the unity of the Bible as we explore this theme of complete removal of sin by the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus.

Behold, The Lamb Of God

“Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” This has only been said about Jesus, He takes away the sin of the world. This is what Easter is all about. In order to gain a better appreciation of what Jesus did for us, we need to understand the system of Old Testament sacrifices that served as a foreshadowing of the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross.

Ephesians 1:13-14 Sealed With The Holy Spirit

In ancient times, when a king or a lord made a new law, he stamped it with his seal in hot wax as a way to verify that this law was his. God has also sealed us, but with something much more precious than some stamped wax. God has sealed us with His own Spirit. Today Bobby teaches on the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

We’ve talked about how God had us in mind since before He made the world, today we’re going to talk about how God has plans for us that stretch into eternity.
