Present Heaven

In this message we look at what happens after death during the time between the resurrection of Jesus and His second coming. More specifically, we look at what the Scriptures say about what we can expect heaven will be like. We answer questions such as will we recognize one another, can we see what is going on here on earth, and what we will be doing. We also take a quick look at what Hades will be like. Where is Heaven?

We continue our series by looking at the question of where is heaven. We answer the question by giving a brief overview, or really a timeline, of heaven. We begin by looking at the Garden of Eden in the early chapters of Genesis. Then we look at where people go after death during the Old Testament times, and then what happens after death since the Resurrection. We trace how heaven, or paradise, changes and evolves until we reach our ultimate destination, when God brings about the new earth and heavens.
