We continue to talk about areas of hypocrisy that can destroy the testimony of the Church. One area is the lack of integrity. It is true that in today’s world integrity is largely ignored, or even mocked. But we cannot allow this to happen in our lives. As we see in this message, God greatly values integrity among His people. In fact, He promises that those who walk in integrity will be the ones who will abide in His presence, who will be blessed, and who will never be shaken. This is Part 1 in which we talk about what is integrity and how can we truly walk in it.

The people of God, the Church, is to reflect the character of God to the world around us. We are to be the fragrance of Christ. But sometimes we discredit our testimony by our actions. One especially grievous way we can do this is through Greed. Greed is often subtle, and always deceptive. Greed not only destroys our witness but it can lead us to ruin and destruction. This message talks about how we can recognize greed in our lives, and what we can do about it.

God wants us to be a fragrance of Christ (II Corinthians 2:14-15). That happens as we demonstrate the love of Christ to a dark and suffering world. However, it is possible that through our lack our love we become a noisy gong or clanging cymbal. We are annoying, obnoxious, and repulsive to the world. God is wanting to purge all hypocrisy from us that we may indeed be that fragrant aroma.
